본 작업은 사운드 설치를 중심으로 상담자와 내담자 사이의 대화를 매개로 한 심리·서사적 구조를 탐구한다. 타인과의 관계에서 지속적인 긴장을 경험하는 내담자는 상담 과정 속에서 그 원인을 어린 시절의 트라우마로 거슬러 올라가 추적한다. 이 대화는 단일한 해결을 향해 나아가기보다 단절과 재연결이 반복되는 관계의 불안정한 궤적을 드러낸다. 작업은 서사의 완결성보다 그 형성 과정의 임시성과 단편성에 주목한다. 상담이라는 구조화된 대화 방식은 개인적 기억과 감정의 비가시성을 교차시키며 발생하는 균열과 누락을 환기한다. 관객은 사운드를 통해 내담자의 서사가 형성되고 해체되는 과정을 청각적으로 경험하며 관계가 단선적인 화해나 결렬이 아닌 다층적 변화를 거쳐 확장될 수 있음을 목격한다.

This work centers on a sound installation that explores a psychological and narrative structure mediated through conversations between a therapist and a client. The client, who experiences persistent tension in relationships with others, traces its origins back to childhood trauma during the course of therapy. Rather than progressing toward a single resolution, the dialogue reveals an unstable trajectory of relationships marked by repeated ruptures and reconnections. The work focuses on the provisionality and fragmentation of narrative formation rather than its completeness. The structured conversational framework of therapy evokes the fissures and omissions that emerge where personal memories and emotions intersect in invisibility. Through sound, the audience aurally experiences the processes by which the client’s narrative is formed and dismantled, witnessing how relationships can expand through multilayered transformations rather than through a linear path of reconciliation or rupture.
